There it is people. UConn NO. 16 in the Associated Press writers poll.
It looks weird. Florida and Alabama are behind the Huskies in the AP poll. Just doesn't look right....
For my money I like what the coaches did. No. 20 seems fair, though it is a bit much to see a three loss Auburn team at No. 17 ahead of 7-1 UConn, which beat N0. 21 South Florida, which happened to beat Auburn on the road.
I know everyone likes Florida and the SEC is a powerhouse. But, you do have to win games sometimes.
Is Florida one of the top 10 teams in the country? Probably. But, the poll is a snapshot. After another loss they should drop.
Or maybe we should just put Florida back in the national title game. A three loss Florida team is more deserving than West Virginia, which beat up Rutgers but still dropped a spot (end of snark).
