Big thing is health, and it looks like the Huskies are going to be okay. Donald Brown has practiced this week and his and Dixon's role will be TBD for Saturday.
Lawrence Green is the backup of Alex LaMagdelaine and could play according to Randy Edsall. But, that knee brace was one of the biggest things I have ever seen. If he can go, he can go, but I imagine it's only an emergency basis.
Mike Hicks has overtaken a healthy Dan Ryan at right tackle. It's just peculiar because Ryan won the job in camp outright over Hicks. It's all about performance however.
Also, the search for a fifth wide receiver continues with the latst candidates being Ellis Gaulden, Marcus Easely and Kevin Poles in that order. Boy, it would be nice to see Ellis out there. Got to admire his persistence with all those injuries.
It looks like Virginia's Cedric Peerman is doubtful for Saturday though the Huskies have worked out as if all three backs will see some time.
Special teams was worked on extensively the last two weeks.
I'l be back later with some thoughts.
