The article was inflammatory. By starting out on how the QBs mom feeds him chicken, then question his toughness by saying maybe he wants his mom to feed him is below the belt. That is an absolute cheap shot. As a journalist, she is reporting rumors and innuendo. Did she observe this? If not, who is giving her this info? If you think the guy is soft, say he is soft. Don't write people in the shadows say he is soft. It is purposely mean spirited. Not good work. I have no problem criticizing college athletes, but at no point did she approach the QB and ask him to answer questions whether he is soft or a mama's boy. It lacked balance and wasn't fair. What's the difference between that and a flame baiting message board post?
BTW, that is all lost in the ridiculous tirade by Gundy. Honest to god, be an adult and get a grip. It was an unprofessional outburst by Gundy. He could have pulled her aside and said she is full of it and why. What he did was make a fool of himself and cloud the issue. Just a sordid affair all the way around.
