In Friday's JI

Talked to freshman end Marcus Campbell. I remember seeing him against Windsor on Thanksgiving last year and I was stunned no one else was interested. Why not take a flyer on that kind of speed and athleticism? Worse case he plays special teams, and very well.

Didn't get into it in the story much, but Campbell thinks he can play linebacker if they do indeed want to move him. He thinks he is fast enough to play safety, though he said he would have to take off weight and work a lot on footwork.

He is so raw, they can mold him anyway they want.

He has tremendous closing speed for a defensive end. Interestingly enough, current recruit Trevardo Williams is even faster. That's some serious speed on the field defensively.
