Live Blogging Maine!

First quarter: Nice job by Lutrus stepping in for an easy pick and TD. Run blocking is terrible. Brown has 4 rushes where he had no chance at gaining positive yardage. 9 rushes for 23 yards for Brown. Not a good job by the O-Line again.

Kanuch looks good with 53 yards on 3 catches. Defense looks good. Not sure how Maine is going to score unless there is a broken play. Just to overpowering for the Huskies' defense. O-Line has to play better.

BTW, why was Tony C kicking from 51 yards?

Second quarter: Offensive line is very shaky, especially the right side. Defense is stout. They have allowed 7 points in six quarters, and scored 16. Can't see how Maine moves the ball. UConn too big, strong and fast.

Offensively it was better on the last drive. Lorenzen used his legs and they went short and quick on the passes. Need better run blocking in the second half. Dan Ryan is having trouble on the right side.

Maine does play tough though, you got to give the defense credit for that.

Halftime thoughts: The field is absolutely in terrible condition. I am not sure what was played here, but there are brown patches of dead grass and dirt divots. Looks like a golf course in late season in some spots. Can the ground crew also paint the lines? Everything is faded. Looks terrible.

Third/Fourth quarter: UConn looked better and wore Maine down. Lansanah is down and he ins't going to return. Looks like an ankle injury. I will report back if we know if it is serious or not.

It was an eerie injury. That was Lansanah's last play of the game and the UConn staff looked crushed on the sidelines. Lansanah was over on the bench and was helped off with a limp. It's not a knee injury though, so that's the good thing.
