Huskies had 24-21 lead but Noel Devine strikes for 58 yard TD with 2:10 left.
What this comes down to is playmaking. Devine made a play, Jarrett Brown made a play. When the Huskies needed one they couldn't get it. Marcus Easley was enormous. It was a football game, and UConn lost. The Huskies could have won, probably should have won. They are short on defense now and it shows late. You can't change who you are.
Ryan Griffin has to hold onto the ball there. Endres has to get rid of the ball quicker or step up in the pocket. It was another game they should have won. It's a tough loss. I am sure they will bounce back this week.
Endres and Easley were great in my opinion. The Huskies are a good team and should be able to get to another bowl game this year and make a big run next year.
Randy Edsall said exactly how I feel after watching the end. "Empty." Not sad, not crushed, but void of happiness.
