Sunday update

Some good news on Sunday. It would seem Scott Lutrus is feeling better than could be expected with his right shoulder. He remains doubtful for Saturday's game against the Cardinals, but his strength right now is better than it was last Sunday when he was cleared to play.

I find that somewhat encouraging. The medical staff didn't just shelve him for the next 6 weeks.

Twyon Martin (leg) is questionable and Robbie Frey is questionable with some head and neck issues.

As far as some other tidbits, Edsall said he would still play the final two minutes the same again. He went into various reasons and it made sense. The Huskies hadn't had an extended drive all game and they didn't move the ball the previous possessions. He didn't feel they had a good chance under those circumstances to score. They played for the strip, block, miss and or bobbled snap.

As far as the fourth quarter what's the deal? Will.

It echoed the sentiments of Andre Dixon and Greg Lloyd on Saturday. The Huskies are lacking that killer instinct and intensity. They are trying hard, they aren't dogs, but I think young teams have to learn to dial it up in the fourth quarter.

Closing out games strong is a learned behavior.

That's it for now, gotta pay the bills.
