The unfair catch revisited
Had to find this on youtube. This play has become iconic in Louisville football history.
The 2007 season surely was a great season for UConn. Yellow Coat man hid the fact that Temple may have beat UConn with a last second touchdown (security was in way of decisive replay) and then the "unfair catch" by Larry Taylor. Ignore the fact that Louisville took the lead on a Don brown fumble was returned for a touchdown. The late great Randy Smith turned to me sometime in the fourth quarter and asked -- "John, What the hell is going on?"
Two years later I don't think I have an answer to that. I remember Lindsey Witten being a beast on the pass rush in the fourth quarter of this game. He needs to be that Saturday.
The funny thing about this video is there were posts made about it less than a week ago. Two years later, and Little LT is in the CFL. This is when the tide started to turn on Kragethorp and Louisville. This was the game it started to come apart.
