Huskies will be the Big East Game of the Week twice. Against Lousiville on Oct. 17 and Syracuse Nov. 28. Game time is noon.
Season opener at Ohio in Athens is 7 p.m.! Awful time. I can't stand night games on Saturday. The rest of the starting times will be decideed by ESPN.
The Huskies only have Saturday home games, which is to Randy Edsall's liking. But, they don't ave any national games highlighted on Thursday or Friday night. That hurts the HUskies exposure-wise, but, it will be a much more traditional college feel.
Edsall is a firm believer in Satuday afternoon games.

If you weren't under the gun for a deadline you gotta admit a night game at the Rent is just an electric experience (with the right team of course).
I'm hoping we get UNC, Rutgers (on All Hallows) and USF at night as I think it gives us a decent home field advantage.
I can still remember the big Pitt win (not the OT one) on ESPN at night and the place was just unreal.
Give me 6 night games every year and I'd be happy.
I bet the UNC game gets picked up on ABC or ESPN2 because UNC will likely be a top 25 team.
I love night games at the rent on Friday's. I hate night games on the road. All I do is sit around the hotel and then go to the arena too early. This year at USF, I went like 4 hours before the game.
Night games at The Rent can be electric.
