Boston Trophy Party
I just couldn 't help myself here.
Starting next week it's nonstop to New Years Day and the Orange Bowl, or, perhaps Dec. 28th and the Papajohns.com.

UConn-Michigan
UConn will play a home and home with Michigan per UConnreport.com.
I am on vacation, don't have confirmation yet, but I'll try and do at some point. How does this affect the ND series? I don't know quite yet.
UConn will head out to Michigan in 2010, and Michigan will be playing at Rentschler Field in 2013.
That's a big get for the Huskies.

Notre Dame ticket and travel packages
This was sent to my email box:
If you are interested here it is.
If you are interested here it is.
UConn Club donors who are football season ticket holders have the first priority on game tickets, and calling days have been established for our various donor categories. Calling days will begin on Wednesday, July 15 and continue through Friday, July 24.
Subject to availability, donors (who are not season ticket holders) and season ticket holders (who are not donors) will have the next opportunity to order.
Complete package and ticket information will only be available during your scheduled reservation times. You may make reservations any time after your designated time has begun. Since the number of tickets provided to the visiting team is limited, you will note that we have established ticket limits for donor categories in order to accomodate as many UConn Club members as possible.
Please be reminded that game tickets and travel packages are subject to availability.

Schedule Ohio 7 p.m. ...UGH!
UConn and the Big East released their starting times for some games this season. One good thing is all the games are on Saturday.
Huskies will be the Big East Game of the Week twice. Against Lousiville on Oct. 17 and Syracuse Nov. 28. Game time is noon.
Season opener at Ohio in Athens is 7 p.m.! Awful time. I can't stand night games on Saturday. The rest of the starting times will be decideed by ESPN.
The Huskies only have Saturday home games, which is to Randy Edsall's liking. But, they don't ave any national games highlighted on Thursday or Friday night. That hurts the HUskies exposure-wise, but, it will be a much more traditional college feel.
Edsall is a firm believer in Satuday afternoon games.
